"My Story begins with a sketch book and a Dial-up Connection."

Hey, I’m Patty—a web designer and developer based in Tulsa, Oklahoma (by way of Miami, where guava pastries and croquetas were a food group).

My love for the internet started with glittery AOL profiles, Geocities layouts, and HTML tutorials from LisaExplainsItAll.com. I didn’t know it was called “design” or “code” back then—I just knew it felt like magic.

That early spark led me to study web design and development, eventually working as a front-end developer at a startup—where I also met my husband (now Creativepea’s resident app front-end wizard). Today, we run a small but mighty design studio together, combining clean code, thoughtful design, and just the right amount of caffeine.

After a few years dedicated to raising our four kids, I returned to web design with renewed clarity—and a deep passion for helping heart-led business owners show up online with confidence.

Creativepea works with wellness providers, coaches, therapists, and service-based brands all across the U.S. I bring calm energy, tech expertise, and a serious love for helping people feel seen online.

Meet the Designer Behind Creativepea

I didn’t just return to design—I returned different.

Like many of my clients, I’ve gone through a personal season of burnout, confusion, and healing. Therapy helped me reconnect. Functional medicine helped me heal from the inside out. Strength training made me feel strong again. And each of those providers had something in common: they were doing powerful work—but their online presence didn’t reflect it.

What made a difference were the brands that communicated clearly. The ones that made me feel seen, safe, and understood before I even booked a call.

That’s the kind of experience I now help create.

Because healing isn’t a trend or a one-time thing—it’s a way of life. And your website should reflect that kind of lasting impact.
